An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic HR Business Partner to join a global leader in innovative technology solutions. This position will play a pivotal role in partnering with business leaders and supporting two advanced manufacturing sites in Japan. The organization is renowned for developing high-quality, high-technology products in growth markets such as 5G, IoT, and electric vehicles, and offers a collaborative environment where employees are empowered to drive both individual and organizational success.


 About the Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement business and talent strategies that foster growth and innovation. You will serve as a trusted advisor on all aspects of people management, organization effectiveness, and culture. In addition, you will collaborate with global HR teams to strengthen HR capabilities across the company, ensuring the highest standards in compliance and employee relations.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to design and execute strategies for business and talent development that drive organizational growth.
  • Support the creation and optimization of effective business structures and functional organizations.
  • Provide insights and guidance to leadership on fostering a strong, positive company culture.
  • Coach and advise Directors and Managers on best practices in people management.
  • Deliver HR expertise across key areas including feedback, compliance, policies, benefits, communication, and employee relations.
  • Resolve employee-related issues and ensure adherence to labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with global HR and HR Business Partner teams to enhance HR capabilities.
  • Participate in and contribute to cross-functional HR projects throughout the organization.


Requirements

  • Strong motivation to contribute and a customer-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
  • Native proficiency in Japanese.
  • Business-level English proficiency or higher.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in payroll, compensation & benefits, or recruitment.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
