A Supplier Relationship Manager at FutureLog Asia Pacific is responsible for sourcing new potential suppliers, as well as building strong, mutually profitable relationships with our existing clients. This is achieved through working in a consultative manner, identifying opportunities for clients to utilise all aspects of FutureLog systems and modules, as well determine the potential for them to utilise to any systems or modules the clients are not currently using. 

Working closely with all divisions of FutureLog Asia Pacific and FutureLog offices Internationally including the Master Data, Customer Success Manager, Financial teams to ensure that internal and external clients needs and expectations are met, in a timely and acceptable manner. 


Core Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the onboarding process and provide support to suppliers joining the FutureLog network
  • Address supplier inquiries and provide clarification via phone and email.
  • Ensure all supplier-provided master data meets FutureLog’s quality and formatting requirements.
  • Perform general administrative tasks and provide operational support as needed.
  • Travel as required for supplier events or onsite visits to introduce FutureLog’s platform and services.
  • Manage supplier data using the internal Ticketing tool and CRM system.
  • Lead supplier acquisition, training, and ongoing support efforts.
  • Assist in developing training courses and educational materials for both clients and internal team members.
  • Support project planning and coordination activities.
  • Take full ownership of an assigned portfolio of FutureLog Asia Pacific clients, fostering strong and mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of FutureLog’s existing and new products and services to effectively assist clients and anticipate their current and future needs.
  • Act as a consultant to introduce additional FutureLog systems and services to suppliers, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Collaborate closely with global FutureLog teams to deliver comprehensive support to clients.
  • Manage and resolve complex supplier issues efficiently.
  • Review and address supplier feedback and complaints to continuously enhance the supplier experience.
  • Demonstrate the ability to resolve technical issues while maintaining a supplier-centric approach.
  • Be prepared to undertake any other duties assigned by management as needed.



Desired Skills & Attributes

  • Fluency in Japanese is essential.
  • Proficiency in English is preferred.
  • A confident, self-motivated individual with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to supplier follow-up.
  • Experience in the hospitality and/or F&B industry, with an understanding of supplier relationship management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, CRM systems, and ticketing tools.
  • Knowledge of EDI and XML is an advantage.
  • Experience in contract management is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Passionate about technical service delivery and delivering outstanding customer support.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel across Japan.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented in task execution.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics for clear and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Strong sense for identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Resilient in the face of challenges, with a mindset geared toward continuous learning.
  • Interest in enterprise technology and its value in driving business success is a plus.
