We’re seeking an experienced Client Services Manager to lead a high-performing recruiting team in Tokyo. In this role, you’ll own service delivery across one or more client accounts, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and drive measurable talent acquisition outcomes.


About the Role


 As the Client Services Manager, you will oversee a team of recruiters and guide them in meeting and exceeding client expectations. You will be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring that recruitment goals are achieved efficiently and with high quality. The role is based in Tokyo with a hybrid work setup and offers the chance to collaborate across the APAC region.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop recruiters to deliver best-in-class service and exceed client expectations
  • Set clear goals and performance standards; monitor progress and proactively address gaps
  • Establish regular 1:1s and team forums; provide real-time feedback and conduct performance reviews
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders; become deeply familiar with their organization and needs
  • Partner with internal teams and client leaders to support new program implementations
  • Define and report recruiting metrics/analytics (e.g., time-to-fill, aging, cost-per-hire, satisfaction, productivity, source mix) to inform decisions
  • Manage events, programs, and campaigns to build candidate pipelines and meet hiring targets
  • Drive strategic hiring approaches: passive outreach, recruitment marketing, and modern recruiting technologies
  • Participate in client meetings; present updates, insights, and remediation plans when needed
  • Ensure effective use of shared delivery resources; oversee account-level reporting and basic P&L considerations
  • Standardize processes; champion continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams
  • Support day-to-day recruitment process needs as required


Requirements

  • Experience:
  • Proven success in a results-oriented talent acquisition or HR role
  • Prior experience coaching peers or managing a recruiting team
  • Technical Exposure:
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and social/media sourcing tools
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (or equivalent productivity suite)
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, human resources, or related field (preferred)
