About the Role

The successful candidate will begin their journey in Tokyo, supporting or leading strategic HR projects in various domains, including talent acquisition, development, compensation, labor relations, and organizational planning. Based on performance, skills, and aspirations, career paths may include:

  • Leadership roles within the Tokyo HQ HR department
  • HR Business Partner (HRBP) assignments within business units
  • Key HR positions in overseas offices (e.g., New York, London, Singapore, Shanghai)
  • HR leadership roles in portfolio or investment companies

This is a hands-on position offering wide exposure across global HR practices, with ample room for career acceleration.


Responsibilities

Key areas of involvement include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing people strategies aligned with business goals
  • Managing end-to-end HR processes including recruitment, deployment, development, performance evaluation, labor management, and benefits
  • Supporting global HR initiatives and international mobility programs
  • Advising on human capital matters related to business investments and portfolio companies
  • Promoting the use of HR technology and people analytics, including HR system development and data strategy
  • Contributing to organizational transformation and HR innovation through strategic project leadership


Requirements


For Professionals with 5+ Years of Experience:

Must-Haves:

  • 5–15 years of work experience in a corporation or government agency
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, organizational planning, or HR consulting
  • Business-level English communication skills (TOEIC 730+ or equivalent)

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting HR for investment projects or portfolio companies
  • Previous overseas HR assignments


For Early Career Professionals (1–5 Years of Experience):

Must-Have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in HR or organizational planning within a company, government agency, or HR consulting firm

Preferred:

  • Business-level English communication skills (TOEIC 730+ or equivalent)
