We are partnering with a leading financial services firm to identify a seasoned marketing professional to join their distribution division. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with strong experience in asset management marketing to contribute to the strategic growth of the business through impactful marketing initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
As Assistant Director, Marketing, you will support the Head of Marketing in elevating departmental performance and executing a variety of strategic and operational marketing activities. This role plays a critical part in bridging internal teams and external partners, managing high-impact campaigns, and supporting business development efforts. You will also oversee the marketing budget and contribute to brand positioning and communication strategies in the local market.
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement frameworks and procedures that enhance the marketing function.
- Localize and adapt global content for the domestic market, ensuring high-quality standards and relevance.
- Lead or support the execution of various marketing initiatives, including content creation, video production, event planning, media relations, digital marketing, RFPs, and due diligence documentation.
- Develop and present marketing materials tailored to distributors, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage and track the department’s annual marketing budget.
- Coordinate with regional and internal teams to align local strategies with broader objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing within the asset management or broader financial services industry.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Fluent in Japanese (native level) and proficient in English (business level or higher).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across different organizational levels.
