We are looking for a seasoned professional to fill the role of Department Manager overseeing General Affairs, Accounting, and Finance. This senior-level position is key to managing critical functions within our dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance and administration, as well as strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of general affairs, accounting, and finance. You will lead a team dedicated to ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient office management, and effective execution of corporate governance and investor relations activities. Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee accounting and financial operations, including monthly closing processes, budget formulation, and financial forecasting. Focus on improving and accelerating monthly financial close procedures.
  • General Affairs: Manage office operations and administrative tasks, including maintaining policies and procedures. Supervise one employee currently handling office management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Implement and manage the company's budget and perform variance analysis to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Corporate Governance: Coordinate and manage shareholder meetings, board meetings, and investor relations activities to support corporate transparency and compliance.


Requirements:

Required:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, or a certified public accountant (CPA) qualification.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of managing and leading teams.
  • Governance Experience: Experience in organizing and managing shareholder meetings and board meetings.
  • Communication Skills: High level of communication skills in both English and Japanese.


Preferred:

  • Certifications: CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge: Experience in cost accounting, IFRS implementation, or operations within a publicly listed company.
  • Fundraising Experience: Experience in raising capital.
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced English skills (TOEIC 940, IELTS 7.5 equivalent) are preferred.
