About the Role

As an Associate Manager / Manager within the Employee Experience practice, you will advise clients on critical business and workforce challenges related to organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, leadership development, change management, and talent strategy.

You will lead the development and execution of strategic organizational and people-related programs designed to drive behavioral change, improve employee experience, and enhance business performance. The role also involves managing client relationships, leading project teams, contributing to business development initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional consulting teams.


Typical projects may include:

  • Designing and implementing global talent management initiatives
  • Supporting clients in identifying engagement challenges through employee surveys and developing actionable improvement plans
  • Defining leadership competency models and conducting leadership assessment and succession planning initiatives
  • Advising organizations during periods of transformation such as M&A, organizational restructuring, or IPO preparation


Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle or key components of Employee Experience consulting projects
  • Manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and client deliverables across multiple workstreams
  • Develop strategic recommendations and actionable solutions related to employee engagement, organizational development, leadership, and talent management
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and executive presentations
  • Collaborate with consultants across adjacent advisory areas including rewards, governance, workforce strategy, and benefits
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective problem solving and strategic guidance
  • Support proposal development and contribute to new business opportunities
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and analysts
  • Assist in developing new consulting solutions and service offerings aligned with market needs


Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in consulting, research, corporate planning, business strategy, HR, or related project management environments
  • Strong interest in human capital consulting and employee experience topics
  • Experience solving organizational or workforce-related business challenges
  • Ability to analyze data and derive logical, structured insights and recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder management and teamwork capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Business-level English and native-level Japanese

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
