Although they're in a niche space, they are the market leader with a large market share which is continuing to grow. They have approximately 100 employees in Japan.

Background: replacement

Role: the role will be responsible for HR, GA, and legal while managing an HR/GA staff that looks after payroll, benefits, and general administration. This role looks after HR business partnering, recruiting, OD, performance management, and it'll be a mix of hands-on and strategic work. As the company is slowly growing there aren't dramatic changes expected but they will be future projects relating to rolling a global assessment and salary scheme. Although the role has a manager title (for consistency with the global HR organization) it sits on the leadership team and operates very much like a director.
