This role offers an opportunity to act as a strategic and hands-on HR partner within a dynamic, multinational environment. Based in Tokyo and operating under a hybrid working model, the position plays a key role in shaping employee experience, supporting leaders, and driving organizational effectiveness across the business.


About the Role

Reporting to a regional HR leader based in Asia, the People Solutions Manager works closely with leaders and HR counterparts to align people strategies with business objectives. The role balances strategic planning with practical execution, covering employee relations, organizational development, talent initiatives, and day-to-day HR support. It is well suited for an experienced HR professional who enjoys leading change, influencing stakeholders, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with people managers to align HR strategies with business goals
  • Contribute to organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives
  • Manage complex employee relations cases while ensuring legal and policy compliance
  • Coach managers on performance management, team dynamics, and employee relations
  • Lead and support talent initiatives, including succession planning and leadership development
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated solutions
  • Analyze HR data to support decision-making and program development
  • Support employees across the full lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
  • Act as a first point of contact for HR-related inquiries
  • Identify training needs and coordinate with relevant teams on development programs


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in HR or HR Business Partnering, ideally within a multinational organization
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and confidentiality
  • Agile mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative approach and a strong commitment to continuous improvement
