Introduction
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the newly established position of HR Manager. This role is designed to support and drive the HR functions in a fast-growing organization with multiple entities across Japan.
About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing and directing HR functions, developing and implementing HR strategies, and providing coaching and consulting to leadership. Your role will be pivotal in building a competitive organization and supporting various HR matters across the business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee HR Functions: Manage and supervise HR activities across the organization.
- Develop HR Strategies: Create and implement effective HR strategies, policies, and practices.
- Coaching & Consulting: Provide coaching and consulting services to senior management to enhance leadership capabilities.
- Support Organizational Growth: Offer HR support to build and maintain a competitive organization.
- Ad-Hoc HR Matters: Assist with various HR-related issues as needed.
Requirements
- Experience: 10-15 years as an HR Business Partner within global companies with multiple group entities. Experience in managing teams for 3-5 years is preferred.
- M&A Integration: Proven experience leading HR integration projects during mergers and acquisitions.
- Leadership Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with corporate executives in a fast-paced industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Japanese labor laws and regulations.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is desirable but not required. Certification in social insurance labor is a plus.
