Introduction:

Our client is a fast-growing digital telecommunications company based in Singapore, committed to disrupting the telco industry with innovative services, flexible plans, and superior customer experiences. The company has quickly established itself as a leader in the industry, utilizing its proprietary operating system to provide seamless services. As the company expands, it is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead its product strategy and development initiatives.

About the Role:

The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the development and execution of product strategies that align with the company’s vision. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing consumer-facing tech products, with a strong focus on user-centered design and data-driven decision-making. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing the product lifecycle, and ensuring the delivery of market-leading products.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a product strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, prioritizing key initiatives and ensuring product roadmaps are clearly outlined.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, marketing, and data analytics teams to ensure the successful execution of product initiatives.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Product Development: Manage the entire product development cycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and post-launch improvements.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success, using data-driven insights to refine product features.
  • Customer Focus: Champion the customer’s perspective within the company, supporting user-centered design and ongoing product enhancements.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular product updates to internal and external stakeholders, including executives and investors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, ideally in consumer-facing tech companies.
  • Proven track record of leading product teams and delivering successful consumer products.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a commitment to customer-focused development.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience using analytics to inform product development.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) and fluency in English.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
