A leading digital and technology-driven group is seeking a strategic professional to join its CEO Office Strategy Division. This is a high-impact role working directly with senior leadership to shape and execute key strategic initiatives across a diversified portfolio of businesses spanning digital services, financial services, and mobility. The organization operates a large-scale integrated ecosystem model, connecting multiple services through a unified membership platform.


 About the Role

This position sits within the CEO Office Strategy Division, reporting into a team that works directly under the CEO. The team is responsible for leading and supporting high-priority strategic projects across the group. The role involves close collaboration with senior executives and business units to address critical management challenges, drive execution, and support decision-making at the top level.

The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of businesses and strategic themes, gaining hands-on experience in shaping and executing initiatives that impact the broader organization.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and support key strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects assigned by senior management
  • Work closely with business units to identify challenges and develop actionable solutions
  • Support executive-level decision-making through structured analysis and recommendations
  • Conduct business performance reviews, including growth strategy, turnaround initiatives, and operational optimization
  • Perform business due diligence, valuation analysis, and market research where required
  • Support partnership strategy development and negotiation processes
  • Contribute to new business development initiatives and innovation projects
  • Conduct macroeconomic and industry research, including scenario modeling and forecasting
  • Participate in project-based assignments across a variety of sectors and themes, including emerging technologies and digital transformation


Requirements


Must-have:

  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English


Preferred:

  • Project management experience
  • Experience in corporate strategy, business planning, or execution roles
  • 2–3+ years of experience in management consulting or similar strategic advisory roles
  • Experience in public sector policy planning or similar analytical roles is also welcome


Additional Requirement:

  • English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 800+ (or equivalent certification/ability to demonstrate comparable level) by the final interview stage
