Introduction

The hiring organization is a Japan-based independent financial group operating a platform model that connects capital markets participants, corporate issuers, and investors. The group provides end-to-end solutions across capital raising, investment opportunity origination, transaction structuring, and investor network development.

Within the broader group structure, responsibilities may sit either within a business focused on deal origination and investment structuring, or within a regulated financial intermediary entity supporting execution and distribution activities. The final assignment will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skill set, and career orientation.


 About the Role

This is a dual-function client-facing role covering both private wealth and corporate client segments. The position is focused on originating, structuring, and distributing investment and financing opportunities while building long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the capital markets ecosystem.

The role requires close interaction with business owners, corporate executives, and investors to identify financing needs, develop investment solutions, and facilitate transactions across equity and alternative investment opportunities.


Responsibilities

Private Banking Coverage

  • Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and corporate owners
  • Identify client investment needs and propose suitable investment opportunities
  • Provide access to private and alternative investment solutions
  • Develop long-term asset allocation and portfolio strategies for clients

Corporate Sales Coverage

  • Develop relationships with executives of listed and unlisted companies
  • Identify capital structure, financing, and shareholder-related needs
  • Source and originate equity financing and capital market transactions
  • Facilitate matching between corporates and institutional investors


Key Focus Areas

  • Deal sourcing and transaction origination
  • Capital raising and investment opportunity creation
  • Expansion of investor and corporate networks
  • Support for corporate capital strategy and investor communications


Requirements

  • Experience in financial services, investment-related roles, or client-facing capital markets functions
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, business owners, or high-net-worth individuals
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate valuation fundamentals
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in investment banking, securities firms, or private banking
  • Exposure to equity financing, capital markets transactions, or structured financial products
  • Experience supporting corporate clients in advisory, capital strategy, or investor relations
  • English proficiency is a plus
