This role is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic leader to directly manage a team of Account Managers, Channel Managers, Sales Engagement Managers, and more. About the Role:

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales success by managing and coaching a team of sales professionals. You will develop advanced solution-selling concepts and create partnerships to achieve significant business goals. Your expertise will guide your team to deliver exceptional results, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:


-Knowledge/Expertise :

  • Develop and enhance technical solutions, being an expert in certain areas.
  • Create strategies for products and services, often across multiple business units.
  • Lead teams in the development of advanced solution-selling concepts and partnerships.
  • Maintain full knowledge of relevant business policies and practices, and lead by energizing others.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and improve long-term profitability, anticipating future customer needs.
  • Apply strategic and tactical understanding of markets to ensure competitive success.


-Solution Complexity/Strategic Thinking :

  • Solve complex problems requiring unique solutions, applicable across various geographies and industries.
  • Lead problem resolution, identify resources, and mitigate future risks.
  • Manage highly complex solutions, often without precedent, crossing international borders.


-Work independently

  • Operate with broad autonomy to make decisions impacting sales effectiveness.
  • Determine and pursue essential courses of action to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Report to Business Unit General Management.


-Customer Interface :

  • Lead formal teams or manage sales personnel.
  • Interact with the highest level of decision-makers on complex systems.
  • Define customer interfaces and assist teams on significant deals.
  • Understand industry direction and customer strategic business plans.


-Accountability :

  • Manage sales and support resources, responsible for revenue, margins, and departmental expenses.
  • Achieve sustained high quotas and results over multiple years.
  • Oversee large, complex deals or a high volume of moderate deals.
  • Have a significant strategic impact in the near and mid-term.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is common.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise in developing technical solutions.
  • Proven success in leading teams and developing advanced solution-selling concepts and partnerships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business policies and practices, with a strong ability to energize and lead others.
