About the Role
As Senior Manager, Retail Sales, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with retail distribution partners, managing product launches, and executing marketing strategies. This role reports directly to the Head of Retail Sales and requires close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve sales targets and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to achieve sales objectives across both public and private investment trust products.
- Manage product launch programs and marketing activities, aligning with market trends, client needs, and product features.
- Proactively communicate with distributor employees, investment consultants, and sales representatives to drive sales and promotional activities.
- Develop new distribution partners and transform these into long-term productive relationships to meet asset growth and revenue targets.
- Contribute new product ideas and support business proposals, client reports, and investment reviews.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and address ongoing client needs.
- Conduct all sales activities in compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the asset management industry.
- Strong motivation for sales with the ability to deliver value beyond client expectations.
- Solid knowledge of financial regulations, industry association rules, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with investment management products, services, and markets.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Business-level English (spoken and written) and native-level Japanese (spoken and written).
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
