We are currently supporting a confidential search for a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer focused on the public sector. This critical position sits within the cybersecurity and network infrastructure industry, driving digital transformation for key government and public institutions. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, aligning advanced solutions with complex organizational challenges.


About the Role

Operating as a technical leader within the cybersecurity and network infrastructure industry, you will bridge the gap between complex technology and public sector needs. Partnering closely with the sales organization, you will drive engagement with central government agencies, local municipalities, and social infrastructure providers. This role requires a blend of technical depth and strategic advisory skills to design resilient, multi-cloud, and on-premises architectures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Proposal & Architecture Design
  • Craft tailored technical proposals that address specific client business and infrastructure challenges.
  • Design robust solution architectures bridging on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
  • Solution Demonstration & Validation
  • Deliver high-impact technical presentations and product demonstrations to stakeholders.
  • Execute Proof of Concept (PoC) evaluations and hands-on technical testing to validate solution efficacy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Relationship Management
  • Partner with account managers to advance high-value sales cycles and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with public sector clients and partner organizations.


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience within the IT industry.
  • Proven background as a Pre-Sales Engineer or Solution Engineer, with foundational knowledge in application security.
  • Experience within the cybersecurity and network infrastructure industry, or prior experience supporting public sector clients.
  • Language: Native-level Japanese / Business-level English (reading and writing).
  • Strong communication, consultative problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel within the East Japan region as required.
