Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join a leading financial services organization in Tokyo. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and management of investment products across the APAC region while working closely with global and local teams.

 About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of the Product Development team, reporting to the Head of Product Development. The team is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing investment products while ensuring compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements. This role provides exposure to cross-border initiatives and collaboration with APAC and global stakeholders, offering a strong platform for career growth in product leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development and management processes for investment offerings.
• Collaborate closely with APAC and global teams, as well as local business units, to ensure alignment on product strategy.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to inform product design and strategy.
• Support operational processes, documentation, and reporting required for product launches and ongoing management.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product development within the financial services or investment management industry, including project management and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, product structuring, fund operations, fund administration, or custody. Exposure to private assets is a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with solid proficiency in relevant PC applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Japanese and English, including written and verbal proficiency.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; CFA or equivalent certification is a plus.
